Last week, Weave Chat AAC released a new set of vocabulary - Safety and Emergency Situations is the parent category. Within this category are several subcategories with relevant vocabulary symbols to help individuals communicate about a variety of emergency situations. 

Subcategories include:

  • Emergency Personnel & Vehicles

  • Hazards

  • Natural Disasters

  • Sensory Support

  • I have…

  • I am allergic to…


In addition to this vocabulary being available for all users in the app (for free - as always), this vocabulary is also available in low-tech form and can be downloaded from this website (weavechat.com) and from TpT (formally known as teacherspayteachers).
