Core 40 & Core 100 AAC Boards

Recently the Core 40 and the Core 100 were moved from the scrolling boards to a true grid board. This creates a more usable and customizable board as a communicator’s language grows. 

The Core 40 board was created using the Dynamic Learning Maps guide for “First 40” vocabulary and the Core 100 (+ categories) was created using the AAC Language Labs list of “100 Frequently Used Core Words” as a guide. There are 2 versions of the Core 40 board - one designed for use in the traditional horizontal mode and one designed to work on a phone sized device in vertical mode. 

All grid boards can be accessed in Settings → Manage Board Builder. Select “Add a new board” and the select the board type you would like to use.
