What is Context AAC?
Context Aware
Builds a local understanding of how you communicate. Tell the app who you are with, where you are (ex: home, restaurant, bowling), and what time it is and it will use that information to formulate words, phrases, and sentences that align with that context.
Dynamic
The app interface will customize itself around your communication habits, preferences, the situation, and the conversation you are having right now. The app is dynamic; this means that phrases you use frequently appear more often and ones you don’t use, are not recommended.
100% Offline
The app is powered by custom-built, small scale machine learning models that run entirely on your device (no power or resources are pulled from anywhere else). We designed our model to only help predict words and grammar. Because it is 100% offline, this means it works in a hospital room, on a bus, or in the middle of nowhere.
100% Private
Your data never leaves your device. All information entered is device specific; this means there is no cloud syncing and no accounts.
Context AAC - How does it work?
The more you use the app, the better it can predict what you may want to say.
Communicate
You can type words (or pictures if you have added them) as well as select from prediction-based words, phrases, and/or sentences.
Build Context
Enter in your location, what you are doing, and the time you are doing it and the app will predict what you might want to say. It is 100% device specific, so none of your data leaves your device or is shared.
Allows for Adaption
As you use the app, the predictions and layout of what is provided will change to better suit your communication style.
